Authors Blog Challenge: My Writing Room #LifeBooksWriting

#LifeBooksWriting @IndieRom

I was invited to participate in a Blog Challenge. For this I will be posting every Friday for the rest of the year with a pre-selected topic to write about. Sounded like fun so I decided to take part.

How I look when people interrupt my writing time.
How I look when people interrupt my writing time.

This week’s topic is My Writing Room. I mainly do most of my writing in my bedroom propped up against my backrest pillow with a lap desk and my laptop. And of course in my pajama’s. I write here because it’s the coziest place in my entire house and I can shut the door and not be bothered by the sounds of my family watching TV or playing video games. I have everything I need close by; my iPhone, bathroom, and my night stand with something cold to drink.

I’ve tried writing in various other locations like a coffee shop but find I usually can only write about 300-500 words there with the amount of distractions. I’m not a person who can write with music on either, even if it’s only instrumental.

If you’re an author and would also enjoy taking part in the weekly blog challenge, check out the ‘challenge schedule’ graphic here on my blog, use the hashtag #LifeBooksWriting and join in!
